A Word Before We Start

This isn’t an easy book. It walks through vendetta, crime, supernatural whispers, cannibalism, exorcism, and twisted murders. Those things are here to show darkness, not to glorify it.

You’ll also meet characters who are hurting; teens and young adults facing depression, some who didn’t win their battles. If you’re struggling, please hear me: no matter what happens, your life is yours. No one’s words should decide its future. Words sting, actions hurt, but they don’t define what you can be. You are not weak. You are a rose: beautiful even among thorns, still a symbol of love.

There are hints of very disturbing material here. I’ve avoided graphic detail, and I will place trigger warnings before chapters or scenes that might be difficult. But if you aren’t ready for dark thrillers or heavy themes, please take care of yourself and don’t read on.
